Seamless Academic Mobility: FollowLap's Unified Credit Matrix Harmonises UK CATS, European ECTS, and US Credits

In an effort to eliminate ambiguity in transnational higher education, FollowLap University's Academic Registry and Transnational Accreditation Division have published the FollowLap Unified Credit Harmonisation Matrix.

The matrix establishes standard conversion rules linking UK Credit Accumulation and Transfer Scheme (CATS) points, European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) units, and United States Semester Credit Hours (SCH). Under the framework, 1 US Semester Credit equates to 2 ECTS and 4 UK CATS credits, ensuring that student workloads and learning outcomes are mathematically transparent and internationally auditable.

"Academic mobility has historically been hindered by opaque credit conversion formulas," said the Registrar. "Our published matrix gives students, credential evaluators, and employer HR departments total transparency regarding the academic weight and rigour of every module completed at FollowLap."

The document is available for public download and has been submitted to international credential evaluation bodies across North America, Europe, and the Commonwealth.
