FollowLap Confirms: Global Students Can Complete Their Degree Without Moving Abroad

Too many talented people still believe a respected degree requires a visa, a rented room in another city, and a year away from paid work. FollowLap University exists to end that false choice for ambitious learners on every continent who want one accelerated digital campus rather than a local classroom they cannot reach.

Every taught module is designed for asynchronous study first, with optional live sessions. Assessments are submitted through the learning platform and marked against published criteria. Viva examinations and oral defences, where required, are held online with identity checks. The award on the transcript is an award of FollowLap University — not a short course certificate.

Ravi Menon, a clinical data manager in Delhi, described the practical difference: "I kept my salary, my housing and my parents. I still submitted every assignment on time. That is the only model that works for people like me." The Provost's office says this is now the majority story among global students.

A fully digital campus designed so students never need to relocate. Students who wish to visit the FollowLap digital campus may do so by arrangement; it is never a condition of progression or graduation.

Quality is protected by the same rules that protect any serious university: external review of assessments, academic integrity processes, and faculty who hold both research credentials and professional practice. Digital delivery is a method, not a discount on standards.

"Relocation is a privilege some students can afford and many cannot," the Provost said. "We will not build our academic model around privilege. We will build it around global students who can do the work."

FollowLap University invites applicants who have delayed study because they could not leave home to apply in the current cycle. Admissions staff will explain how supervision, libraries and student services operate across time zones.

For global students considering FollowLap University, the practical test is always the same: can you complete serious academic work without abandoning the life you already have in Delhi? The university's answer is yes — if you will do the reading, meet the deadlines, and accept that a degree is assessed, not gifted. Ravi Menon, working as a clinical data manager, is the kind of student this news is written for: employed, ambitious, and unwilling to treat relocation as a tuition they never agreed to pay.

Staff across admissions, registry, teaching and student services have been told to design every process as if the default student is studying after a full day's work. That means recorded sessions, published rubrics, named advisers, and library help that does not vanish at the end of one country's office hours. It also means FollowLap will not pretend a programme is light. Applicants among ambitious learners on every continent who want one accelerated digital campus rather than a local classroom they cannot reach should plan weekly hours before they accept an offer, and they should ask uncomfortable questions at the open webinars if a page on the website feels vague.

FollowLap University is an accelerated digital university for a connected world. Founded in 2019, it will keep publishing news that is operational rather than ceremonial: what changed in a programme, who can apply, how assessment works, and how global students can get help. A fully digital campus designed so students never need to relocate. The next steps for readers of this article are on the programmes pages, the admissions portal, and the student handbook. Questions from Delhi and from every other city FollowLap serves should go to the office named as author above — they are accountable for the claims in this piece.
