Ship product with crews in three meridians—roadmaps, reviews, and on-call—without a licensed-engineer claim.
Online only

Distributed product organisations fail when ‘alignment’ means one timezone’s stand-up and everyone else’s recorded afterthought. This degree treats product and engineering leadership as operations under offset: definition of ready, code review SLAs that respect sleep, incident ownership that does not always land on the last person online, and documentation that is the product, not a courtesy. You will not be trained to sit PE or CEng. You will be trained to notice when a roadmap assumes a co-located war room. FollowLap University’s seminars rotate across Americas, EMEA, and APAC. Support hubs in Spanish, Portuguese, and Hindi can explain logistics; they do not re-grade your architecture memo in another language by default. The award is academic. Vendor badges remain vendor badges. The capstone must name a shipping constraint—latency of review, follow-the-sun QA, or contractor coverage—not a generic agile essay. Studio work uses backlogs, review SLAs, and incident notes, not a campus lab coat. You will document why a San Francisco morning stand-up is a design failure for Delhi, and you will write career-ladder language that does not imply PE or CEng. Contractor coverage, knowledge drain, and maker-time across zones are assessed. FollowLap University’s own teaching grid rotates; you are expected to treat that as a product constraint, not as a courtesy. Vendor cloud badges remain outside the award.
Thirty-six credits: distributed product systems, engineering operations without licensure claims, fairness and contractors, and a shipping capstone.

Modules are assessed through a published mix of coursework, applied projects, and examinations. Exam windows are announced in advance so students in other time zones are not forced into overnight sittings. Alternative arrangements are available where documented.
The published duration is 18 months. Teaching language: English (ES/PT/HI support hubs do not change the language of assessment unless a bilingual pathway is stated). Actual time-to-complete depends on mode and any recognised prior learning.
This is a fully online award. You study from your country. No student visa and no campus relocation are required.
Degree tuition for this award is published as £0 / tuition-free on the online pathway. Examination or administrative fees may apply at checkout — never an annual tuition invoice. Check the Fees page for any extras.
Requirements are grouped on this page (academic, English, documents). Equivalent qualifications are considered. English may be waived after prior English-medium study.
Assessment is typically a mix of coursework, projects, and examinations. Doctoral awards include a thesis or dissertation and an oral examination. Details sit in the programme specification and module outlines.
Recognition of the award for local employment, professional licence, or ministry attestation is decided by your employer or regulator. FollowLap University publishes verification pages for certificates. We do not claim automatic equivalence in every country.
