LoadingLoadingLoadingLoadingDetector scores mislabel World Englishes. This FollowLap study compares detector flags with viva and process-note evidence on 300 scripts. False positives clustered on Indian, Nigerian and Philippine academic English. Process evidence (notes, drafts, short orals) identified ghost-written work more fairly. FollowLap University should not run an integrity regime that punishes the students it claims to include. Policy is a research finding here: declare tools, require process, examine orally when stakes are high.
