LoadingLoadingLoadingLoadingComputing degrees still imagine a lab. FollowLap students already work in distributed product teams. This paper reports a module where assessment is a sprint log, a design review recording, and a post-mortem — with identity-checked contribution. Students who had only written solo coursework struggled with review culture. Employers among alumni said this module predicted job performance better than a take-home algorithm paper alone. FollowLap University should keep computing assessment aligned with distributed work. A global digital computing school that only tests silent individual code is training a job that is shrinking.
